topic e-File Status in After you file

e-File Status

I e-File my Federal on 01-29-2021 and still did not receive the confirmation back from IRS yet, In the mean time, my son e-File today and received the IRS confirmation in same day. Is that supposed to be FIFO? I called TurboTax support and they did not able to answer my question either.

Get in line with the rest of us who e-filed early yet have family/friends who e-filed recently and have their fed/state returns approved. Something is definitely going on here, perhaps Turbotax lost or misplaced all the early e-filers returns or our files become corrupted? Either way, we need complete transparency from them. I've been a loyal customer for many many years, but the 1st year I choose to e-file 2 weeks ahead of time and now my state refund is in pending status for almost a week...something seems off here.
