    <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes, if you could not be (and were not) claimed as a dependent by someone else in 2020, and you otherwise qualify for the stimulus payments, you will get a credit on your 2020 tax return.&amp;nbsp; According to the IRS "Eligible individuals who did not receive the full amounts of both Economic Impact Payments may claim the Recovery Rebate Credit on their 2020 Form 1040..."&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;The credit will either increase your refund, or decrease the amount of tax due on your 2020 tax return.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;TurboTax will guide&amp;nbsp;you through the&amp;nbsp;completion of&amp;nbsp;the Recovery Rebate Credit Worksheet&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;In 2019/2020 I was independent but, my mom accidentally claimed me as dependant on both my returns and hers we had them amended to change to say I'm independent, will I get my stimulus with my 2020 tax return? It says i will but i wanted to verify to make sure. Any Answer would but much appreciated.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
