Second Stimulus

Still didn't get my second stimulus but when filing taxes, is there a form online or question that can help me claim the stimulus?? What's going on Turbotax? Don't just say "IRS Error" because it is not just IRS fault in this.

Every information is the same for me and I put it direct deposit so what exactly am I missing?

If for any reason you do not receive all or part of your stimulus payments in advance, you can have it added to your refund. The IRS stopped mailing payments on 1/15 so wait until 1/25 to file to make sure you don’t receive the money before filing. If you file too early and you get the money after you file then your return will be delayed while the IRS corrects your error. Since the IRS will not start processing returns until 2/12 you have time to wait … don’t be in a rush.

Please wait until you are certain there is no second payment, then you can follow these steps, if necessary.

After you have entered your tax information and are ready for the Federal Review, stimulus will be the first question.
If you are trying to trigger it:

go to Other Situations
click Done.
The next question will ask about payments received.

The program will determine the missing amount and add it to your refund.

Did they change the due date to 1/25 to receive stimulus? oh never i got it.. good thing I didn't file early but pretty sure I ain't gonna get it but have to claim it...

Think logically ... the IRS had to stop sending out checks on 1/15 + 10 days for the post office to deliver it (hopefully)... so the 25th is just an educated guess. You could wait longer since the IRS will not start processing returns until 2/12 you have time to wait. Some posters who filed as soon as they could and then got a check now find their returns are wrong. The IRS will correct this "math error" but they did say it would delay the return (by how long we don't know yet) ... so it is better to be safe and wait a decent time to see if a check does show up before rushing to file.
