I just don’t understand! I just got marrried a year ago and I believe most of it is some back stuff he owed but how do I find out and find out what I did wrong

We can't see your return or notice. if you don't understand the notice call the IRS

First choose your language.

Then 2

When asked for SSN do nothing it will ask twice

Then 2

Then 4

You should then be transferred to an agent, but there is likely to be a long wait.

it won't help to refile if the issue is due to errors/omissions in the return

TurboTax does not receive any information from the IRS or your state after your return was filed, so no one at TurboTax knows about a letter you received from the IRS or the state.

TurboTax has a special phone number for help with IRS/state tax letters, which will be easier than going through regular Customer Support. At the page below, click on the blue button that says "Get Help from TurboTax Support". Then it will ask you what tax year is your letter. Then it will ask you what the letter concerns. Then it will show you the phone number during posted business hours.

You newlyweds are overdue for a serious discussion of what your spouse owes and why it is owed. Does your spouse owe back taxes, child support, student loan debt?

You might want to file as "injured spouse" next time for your 2020 return to protect the part of the tax refund that can be attributed to your own earnings.
