&lt;P class="p2"&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s2"&gt;First choose your language. Press 1 for English.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="p2"&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s2"&gt;Then do NOT choose the first choice re: "Refund", or it will send you to an automated phone line.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

Back in March the IRS closed their processing centers and stopped processing mailed tax returns.&lt;SPAN class="Apple-converted-space"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/SPAN&gt;An IRS spokesperson said that they have about 11 million pieces of unopened mail.&lt;SPAN class="Apple-converted-space"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/SPAN&gt;The IRS says....."We’re experiencing delays in processing paper tax returns due to limited staffing.  &lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:11.0pt"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family:Calibri"&gt;stimulus- is it correct, pay missing amounts, do they need to be added for the new stimulus&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:11.0pt"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family:Calibri"&gt;unemployment - is it on there, was it filed with the $10,200 subtraction, does it need to be adjusted&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:11.0pt"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family:Calibri"&gt;premium tax credit - is it on there, is there an amount due, adjust the return&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:11.0pt"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family:Calibri"&gt;EIC - is it on, were they banned, is there a record of release to claim?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:11.0pt"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family:Calibri"&gt;Child credit -anybody else claim, how old are kids, what is allowed&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:11.0pt"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family:Calibri"&gt;and so on for still more, it is a long process this year to check each return for so many things.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:10.5pt"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family:Arial"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:11.0pt"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family:calibri"&gt;The IRS is also processing returns mailed in last year and handling the current stimulus. They have scheduled this summer to adjust unemployment on returns.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:10.5pt"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family:Arial"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Your reply is insufficient! Telling me what problems the IRS has is their problem and not mine. My problem is that I have a refund due me that they have not honored in a timely manner. Someone’s dropped the ball and as tax payers who pay there salaries we find it hard to forgive them. When I owe taxes they want my funds on a day certain. This is no answer or excuse.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
