Ammended 2018 return and now I need to ammend again

Selecting Ammed return for an ammended return doesn't work. I have tried deleting the form 1040X from the ammended return, saving it, and then selecting ammend on it, but that doesnt reflect the additional refund I got from the first ammendment, nor does it bring the refund balance back to zero.

Any tips/help is appreciated.

STOP ... to amend an amended return you must start with the column C of the original amended return in the new column A of the second amended return ... you do NOT go back to the original return's figures.

Since you must be using the Downloaded program you can switch to the FORMS mode if needed.
