I just want a copy of my federal return for my daughter's student loan application but I can't print or download my federal return.

Well here is the scoop ... Right now the 2019 returns are being archived so since you did not save a PDF from the Print Center BEFORE the online system closed on 10/15 this year you will need to wait until early December when the Online system opens back up for the 2020 tax year.

At that time you will be able to download a complete PDF which will include all the worksheets.

Options ... go to this IRS website for free federal tax return transcripts - https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript

Or for a fee of $50 you can get a complete federal tax return from the IRS by completing Form 4506 - http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4506.pdf

Always print a copy of your finished return for your own records and review it carefully before filing.

You will need it if you are audited by the IRS, or to amend for any reason.

AND to get your AGI for next year.
