Turbo tax help told me yesterday in order print return before filing I need to file and mail and change to elect filing now it is filing an amended return. Help

Choose option to file by mail then change to electronic filing. But now it is showing as an amended return. I have not filed. I need to cancel return I assume. But no option.

Then to get back into your return you should click on Add A State, not Amend. Not sure what you were told yesterday but you do not have to pick File and Mail to print your return.

Before filing, you can preview the 1040 or print the whole return
