My 2018 filing

My 2018 tax information was destroyed due to a water leek, Im not an expert I always use the previous year as a guide. Can you guys send me a copy via email, I have had four deaths in my family including my Mother. Im still grieving and it’s hard to concentrate on something as important as this. I filed for an extension, trying to find ways to retrieve the info. Now I’m running out of time this is my last resort, Please help

To access your current or prior year TurborTax online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

If you used the TurboTax desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created. TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.

For a fee of $50 you can get a complete federal tax return from the IRS by completing Form 4506 - http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4506.pdf

You need to remove the personal information you entered on your message. Please click on the 3 vertical dots in the upper right corner of your message to Edit and remove the personal information.

So very sorry for the losses you have experienced. But--no-- no one can access your account or your tax returns and email them to you. You are the only one who can access your own account and print it or view it yourself. And email is not a secure way to send a tax return anywhere.

I notified the moderators to remove the personal information you posted, but you should try as soon as possible to return to this post and click those three little blue dots on the upper right to edit out the name and address you posted here. This is a public website that can be seen by anyone. Please do not post personal contact information here--scammers or would-be identity thieves may see it and contact you pretending to be from TurboTax.

You do not say if you used online TurboTax for 2018 or if you used desktop. If you used online you can find your account and print the return again. If you used desktop software (CD/download) the tax file is on your own hard drive.

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them. Log out of the account you are in now.
