SAVE YOUR TAX RETURN !

EVERY year before mid-October you should save a copy of your tax return as a pdf and print a copy of it for your records. That way you will not be searching online frantically when you need it for a lender, FAFSA forms, your next tax return, etc.

No one can email a copy of your tax return. And it is not safe to email a return in regular unsecured email. Regular email is not a secure method of transmission, and a return has much sensitive personal info, including possible bank account numbers. You should be able to download/print your 2019 return.

If your 2019 returns were prepared in Online TurboTax, log into your account and at the Tax Home scroll down and expand the section "Your Tax Returns & Documents". Choose tax year 2019, and then click "Download/print the PDF". If you can't find your 2019 return in that account, then you likely have multiple accounts and signed into the wrong one. Many people end up with multiple accounts without realizing it. If that's your situation, we can tell you how to look for multiple accounts.

If you find it but have trouble printing it, we can tell you an alternate way to get the return from inside the Print Center inside the return, which also allows you to get the worksheets.
