TurboTax cannot confirm your identity. You need to follow the instructions on the letter you received. There also should be a phone number on the letter for you to call if you are having problems.

TurboTax provides do-it-yourself tax software. You could say anything on the TT site and TT would not know if it was true. TurboTax does not check outside sources against the information you enter. So, no, TurboTax cannot verify your identity.
