    <description>&lt;P&gt;Payment for what?&amp;nbsp; If you mean payment for TurboTax fees, no.&amp;nbsp; First of all, you should not have a fee to amend a return you prepared using TurboTax unless the changes you made required you to upgrade to a higher version of the software.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Secondly, if you are getting a refund for an amended return, it comes to you as a check that the IRS mails to the address on your tax return.&amp;nbsp; It is not possible to pay the fees from the refund.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You have three years from the filing deadline to submit an amended return.&amp;nbsp; Wait til you can pay if you need to upgrade in order to amend.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Alternative option ... wait until early December to amend the return ...&amp;nbsp; undo what you did and come back when you can download the upgraded program for free.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
