How or where am I able to get my 1040 for my refund? I tired getting it from turbo tax but it doesn't give me the right files. How can I get a hold or some body through the phone as well?

Did you efile or do you need to print and mail your return? What file are you trying to download? The PDF?

Or here's an alternate way to print by opening the filed return back up to print at the Print Center, where you can also get the worksheets.

Log in and at the Tax Home or in the section Your Tax Returns & Documents for 2019, look for a link Add a State. Click on Add a State. (you don't really add one. That's just to open your return back up.)

After the return is open, click in the left menu column on TAX TOOLS, then PRINT CENTER.

Then choose Print, save, view this year's return.

The next screen should offer some options: Just my tax returns or include government worksheets (optional), or include government and TurboTax worksheets (optional.)

Be sure to attach copies of your W2s and any 1099s that have withholding on them. You have to mail federal and state in separate envelopes because they go to different places. Get a tracking number from the post office when you mail them for proof of filing.

Well apparently I need a 1040 to get verified in order to receive my tax return. I efield through turbotax.

I only have a w-2 and never got 1040 or anything like that.

When you enter your W2 into Turbo Tax it fills out the 1040 tax return and you submit the 1040. The 1040 is the form you file to the IRS. You either efile it or print and mail it to the IRS.

Did you efile? Was it Accepted?

Did you go all the way through the File tab, through the 3 steps and hit the big orange Transmit Returns Now button?

When you efile you get back 2 emails. The first email only confirms the transmission. The second email says if the IRS (or state) Accepted or Rejected your efile.

When you log into your account you should also see the status and if it was Accepted or Rejected, Started, Printed, Ready to Mail, etc. What does it say?
