I had received the federal tax return, but still waiting on the state, I had received a letter for missing documents and verification, havent been contacted since, even tho it shows my state return was accepted. May i know whats going on?

once accepted TT receives no further updates. contact the state department of revenue.

You ll have to submit missing documents that they asked for, normally most of the State Departments (varies slightly from State to State) take 60 to 90 days minimum to process and then release refunds. Yes, you may have to contact them for an update.

@Ianchay0305 TurboTax does not receive any information from your state after you file your tax return. If the state asked you for more information, it is up to you to provide the information to the state.
