I filed my 2018 and 2019 taxes on turbotax. It gave me a whole section for 2018. Like there's boxes for 2018 and 2019. I click both boxes and they have the amounts dated files and both say accepted.

If accepted by the IRS use the federal tax refund website to check the refund status - https://www.irs.gov/refunds

After the tax return has been Accepted by the IRS (meaning only that they received the return) it will be in the Processing mode until the tax refund has been Approved and then an Issue Date will be available on the IRS website.
See this IRS website for federal tax refund FAQ's - https://www.irs.gov/refunds/tax-season-refund-frequently-asked-questions
If over 21 days since being Accepted by the IRS and the tax refund is still Processing you can call the IRS and speak with an IRS agent concerning your tax refund.
Call the IRS: 1-800-829-1040 hours 7 AM - 7 PM local time Monday-Friday
When calling the IRS do NOT choose the first option re: "Refund", or it will send you to an automated phone line.
So after first choosing your language, then do NOT choose Option 1 (refund info). Choose option 2 for "personal income tax" instead.
Then press 1 for "form, tax history, or payment".
Then press 3 "for all other questions."
Then press 2 "for all other questions."
- When it asks you to enter your SSN or EIN to access your account information, don't enter anything.
- After it asks twice, you will get another menu.

Press 2 for personal or individual tax questions.
Then press 4 for all other inquiries
It should then transfer you to an agent.

You could not have e-filed a 2018 return in 2020, so not sure what you are seeing online. Did you use the current online software and mess up by entering 2018 income? The online program is ONLY for a 2019 return. The IRS refund site would not be showing a 2018 refund. It only shows 2019 refunds. When and how did you file a 2018 return?

Each tax year has its own software and its own forms. It is still not clear what you are trying to say you did. It is not possible to combine tax years from two years on the same Form 1040 (well, it is possible to make a mess by doing that....but it would be a big mess).

When did you prepare and file 2018? Was it prepared using 2018 software? How did you file it---did you e-file it or did you mail it?

When did you prepare your 2019 return? Did you e-file it or mail it in?

If you are saying that you e-filed 2018 timely in 2019 and it was accepted but you did not receive the refund:

Did you choose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund?

Your tax refund was not sent to TurboTax. TurboTax does not handle your refund at all.

Santa Barbara Tax Products Group, LLC (SBTPG) is the bank that handles the Refund Processing Service when you choose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your refund. This option also has an additional charge from the bank that processes the transaction.

You can contact them SBTPG, toll-free, at 1-877-908-7228 or go to their secure website www.sbtpg.com

https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/2580357-who-provides-the-refund-processing-service

If it was filed and accepted, then you have to follow up with the IRS to see what happened.

To call the IRS:IRS: 800-829-1040 hours 7 AM - 7 PM local time Mon-Fri

Listen to each menu before making the selection.

First choose your language. Press 1 for English.

Then do NOT choose the first choice re: "Refund", or it will send you to an automated phone line.

Instead, press 2 for "personal income tax".

Then press 1 for "form, tax history, or payment".

Then press 3 "for all other questions."

Then press 2 "for all other questions." It should then transfer you to an agent.

If this is about your state refund then contact your state:
