      <description>&lt;P&gt;If your tax return was accepted by the IRS with a payment and the payment was on or before July 15, 2020, then there is no issue.&amp;nbsp; The IRS is just slow due to the massive numbers of tax returns received on or before the due date.&amp;nbsp; It may take a few days before your bank account is debited by the IRS.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I requested a direct debit be made on a certain day to pay my 2021 balance due, but thus far nothing has happened.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I checked and my Bank has not debited my account and they don't seem to have any indication of anything pending.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I called TT help center and they were NO help at all.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Other than sitting here waiting, is there anything I can proactively due to see if my payment is going to be made?&amp;nbsp; I do not buy the excuse that the service is overloaded, as it is not like these are manual transactions.&amp;nbsp; It should all be automated.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Turbo Tax is very good about advising about refunds, but is not very good about the very normal situation where you have a balance due.&amp;nbsp; I cannot even find a place in the program to see the instructions I provided.&amp;nbsp; That should be simple, but it is not.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;It is entirely up to the IRS when they debit your account.&amp;nbsp; Unfortunately&amp;nbsp;there is nothing you can see or do concerning when the payment will be debited.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The bank information you entered and the date you selected for the payment to be made will be shown on the&lt;STRONG&gt; Federal Filing Instructions&lt;/STRONG&gt; page and on the &lt;STRONG&gt;Federal Information Worksheet&lt;/STRONG&gt; in &lt;STRONG&gt;Part V&lt;/STRONG&gt; of the worksheet.&amp;nbsp; You will need to use Print Center and the option for all worksheets.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks, but this guidance didn't help.&amp;nbsp; I am in Florida so there are no state taxes and I don't have the ability to "add a state" since I had no need to buy the version with states.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I clicked the hyperlink below, and it didn't take me anywhere that allowed me to see my returns.&amp;nbsp; I did open Turbo Tax where my 2021 return is, but I don't see a "Tax Home" page.&amp;nbsp; I don't have a Tax Tools option either (I am on my iMac) or a Print Center.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can you please help with some better instructions?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks, I am able to see that my instructions, account # and routing # are there.&amp;nbsp; Now all I need is TT, the IRS and my Bank to actually do something.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I guess I have no choice but to wait until the end of the day or the next business day and hope it happens.&amp;nbsp; What a system (fail).&amp;nbsp; Here I am willing to pay 17 days early and I can't get someone to execute and take my money.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But thanks.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Can I ask another question?&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the account # truncated the last two digits (I am not sure why this happened, but the last two are not showing up on the form or the printed instructions), is there anything I can do to fix it or is it too late and I need to make the payment another way?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am a bit mortified I may have entered the wrong # and the funds will be withdrawn from someone else's account if that is possible.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
