If your return is rejected, northing happens to a credit card payment that was on your return, because the return went nowhere.

Some rejected returns can be fixed and re-filed. Some have “un-fixable” reasons for the rejection and have to be mailed instead.

You received a rejection email that we cannot see. Please tell us word for word what it says so we know how to help you. Or even copy and paste the email message.

They showed a different AGI for my wife from our 2018 return though we filed jointly. Efile rejected. Says I cant mail because I paid with a credit card. This is the worst service ever.

I have been rejected twice due to 2018 AGI.

I have put the amended amount at first but for the 2nd time was the original 2018 AGI.

Also, I was asked for a previous PIN no. but this is the first time I am doing this.

Please help! If I just mail it tomorrow, would I be penalized? Thank you.
