Hello,

I hope my email finds you very well, I filed my taxes in early May and had to send them via regular mail as I couldn't file online how do I know if they have received my paperwork?

You can check the status of your refund expected from a mailed tax return at least 4 weeks after it has been mailed to the IRS. It takes a minimum of 6 to 8 weeks for the IRS to receive and process a return that has been mailed. However, given the current situation with the corona virus pandemic, it will take even longer because the IRS has not been accepting mailed returns for quite some time.

Thank for your response Annette, although I am not waiting on a return I just would like to know if they have received my information and if I have correctly filed my taxes to be able to get the estimulous check later on.

Is there a place online where I can check if they have received my taxes info?
