Our tax return was rejected. It says it was because our daughter had also filed a return but did not indicate if she could be claimed as a dependent by anyone else. She turned 16 in August 2019 and we paid more than half of her living expenses during 2019.

If she filed a return and didn't check the box that she can be claimed on someone else's return then you will have to print and mail your return this year. She will have to amend her return.
