The total is shown on line 8a of form 1040 or on Schedule 1 line 22.

On your Federal tax return Schedule 1 will have adjustments to income. The total from Schedule 1 Line 22 flows to the Form 1040 Line 8a. Your adjusted gross income is on the Form 1040 Line 8b.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the screen. Click on Tools. Click on View Tax Summary. Click on Preview my 1040 on the left side of the screen.

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)
