f you e-filed your tax return using TurboTax, you can check your e-file status, to ensure it was accepted by the IRS. You'll also receive an e-mail confirmation directly from the IRS.

You do not get any emails directly from the IRS!

Did you efile? Was it Accepted?

Did you go all the way through the File tab, through the 3 steps and hit the big orange Transmit Returns Now button?

When you efile you get back 2 emails. The first email only confirms the transmission. The second email says if the IRS (or state) Accepted or Rejected your efile.

When you log into your account you should also see the status and if it was Accepted or Rejected, Started, Printed, Ready to Mail, etc. What does it say?

Oh you printed and mailed it? Mailed returns don't get Accepted or Rejected. So you don't get any notification unless you mailed it with a tracking number from the post office.

They just started opening the mail in June that's been stacking up. So you have to keep waiting.
