2018 refund

I mailed in my 2018 tax return on the 3rd week of March. I was able to track it on irs website. The the website said it was processed and they sent direct deposit 4-8-20. Irs did not not believe me and wouldn't help. They told me the website can't track 2018 returns, but it did mine.Anyone have any ideas to do next?

The online tracking system is ONLY for 2019 returns right now ... so what did you mail in ?

2019 or 2018 forms ?

2018 returns will probably take more than 4 months (or longer) to process due to the current IRS backlog on paper returns. Same for 2019 returns that were mailed in 2020.

And if you mailed anything 2018 or 2019 they weren't even opening the mail so it could not have shown up anywhere. Maybe you were looking at the Stimulus Check payment?

They just started opening the mail in June that's been stacking up. So you have to keep waiting.

I know that, but it did tracked my return and said was processed and refunded. You can't put any amount in it will take it. Why won't anyone believe me.
