Tax changes

I received a notice from Turbo Tax stating that we may quality for further tax deductions if we paid mortgage insurance premiums or had PMI. I'm not certain if this applies to us or not and was wondering if someone could help me determine if it did.

LOOK at the form 1098 from the mortgage company ... did you have any PMI or MIP listed in box 5 of that form ?

Box 5 says zero so I think that answers my question. Thanks so much!
