Are you signed into your TurboTax account or what kind of error are you receiving when you try to view or print your return?

How do I get a copy of a return I filed this year in TurboTax Online?

I click on the download button. The document asks if I want to view or save. If I click view, the box disappears. If I click save, it gives a txt file instead of a pdf. I tried yesterday also with no luck.

Why is my PDF downloading as a .txt file in Microsoft Edge?

If you're using TurboTax Online, you may experience Microsoft Edge saving the PDF version of your tax file as a .txt file.

Solution

There are two ways to solve this issue:

Change your browser (to Google Chrome or Firefox, for example) and save from there.
Replace the .txt extension with .pdf.
