topic Advice in After you file

I tried having TurboTax efile for me in February but kept getting rejected. I had to go out of town so I printed and mailed my file on 2/27 0r 28. Since I haven't mailed my taxes in years I just wanted confirmation that my file is in. In April I went back to TurboTax and an expert helped fix the problem but advised not to send an efile since I mailed one. Now its 5/18 and IRS.GOV has not record on my taxes. Should I send the efile or wait?

No, do not send in another return. The IRS is not currently able to process individual mailed tax returns. If you already have filed via paper but it has not yet been processed, do not file a second tax return or write to the IRS to inquire about the status of your return or your economic impact payment. Paper returns will be processed once processing centers are able to reopen.

Thanks, the answer was somewhat reassuring but I feel uneasy about trusting and waiting.
