Get my payment tool says need more information so I put my bank account on the app since April 16 and I’m still waiting!! Says once we have a payment date we updated this page has been a month.This year we put the account of my wife but since I was the participant and my name did not appear in the account they rejected it and sent it to a third party and finally I got to my house! but I still don't know anything about my stimulus. @IRS

It depends.

If you are a Non-filer, you cannot use the Where's my payment site. This site only works for those who have filed tax returns in 2018 or 2019.

The stimulus payment check should have had the amount for your entire household if you filed your return as Married Filing Joint.

If this is the case, you may have to wait to claim a credit on your 2020 tax return when you file in 2021. You will be asked for information about the amount of the stimulus payment you received, and if it is less than you are entitled to, you will be given a credit on your 2020 tax return.
