I have been waiting way over a month for my federal tax refund. On TurboTax it says accepted and on the way. But on the IRS site it says processing with no date on when I can get it and no way to see when. I need it ASAP and I was told I would get it in 21 days but it’s been over a month. I also can’t contact anyone in the ORS due to the pandemic and I can’t get the stimulus check without this first. I got my state refund already I don’t understand the hold up on federal.

I am sorry it is taking so long for the IRS to process your tax refund. Did you receive any correspondence from the IRS in regards to your refund? If not, your only re-course is to contact the IRS once they open their phone lines again at 1-800-829-1040 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

You will still receive your stimulus payment though it may be delayed.

I haven’t received anything! And I tried calling a million numbers but every IRS office is closed down due to the pandemic. So I just keep getting automated messages. I am just trying to understand why there is such a huge delay considering I have gotten my state refund weeks ago already. And there is nothing on the IRS website saying when I could expect to receive the other refund.
And thank you so much for your response! You are the first person all day I have been able to get any type of help from so I really appreciate you taking your time to read my problem.
