topic Federal Tax Return in After you file

I filed my taxes on March 28th, 2020. I received my state tax, but have yet to receive my federal tax. I logged on to the IRS website to track my refund, but it said my federal tax refund was not accepted. So I logged on to my TurboTax account and it says my federal and state taxes were both accepted. I’m so confused, and would love help figuring this out. I just would like to know when I will receive my refund, or if there is something wrong with the federal taxes I submitted on turbo tax. Help!!!

It says I may NOT have entered my information correctly. I re-entered my information, including the date in which I filed my taxes, March 28, 2020. Hit the electronic button for how I filed, and hit submit.

Then it says “it cannot provide any information about my refund. I must wait at least 24 hours after you get the acknowledgement email that your taxes was received by the IRS.”

If there is no record of your return at Where's my Refund or you are getting the message "You may not have entered your information correctly", an important factor can be if you are married filing jointly. Make sure you are using the Social Security Number for the name that appears first on the return. Keep in mind that once the IRS notifies TurboTax that your return was accepted we won't get any more information from them.

Here are some other common reasons why your refund is not showing at Where's My Refund:

This is normal. It can take anywhere from a few days to 3 weeks to update. Until the IRS starts processing it on their own, you may not find record of it or the website may say that you have put in incorrect information when tracking your federal refund. As your return moves through the system, the status of it will be updated. Continue checking the Where’s My Federal Refund tool for updates. Updates are made daily, usually overnight.

Okay, I filed on March 28th, 2020. This weekend will make 3 weeks.

I have also been trying to log my stimulus refund, but that also says my information is wrong. I did not file taxes last year as I did not make enough. Should I fill out the non-filer paperwork for the stimulus refund or just wait on that also?
