Some are saying they are receiving a notification of a pending deposit. How are you getting this via email or text?

It depends.

Some banks may have a processing time frame before they finalize the deposit. This may be what they are seeing.

The IRS has only indicated they will be mailing out letters 15 days after the payments are made.

The people I saw said they received a notification for Turbotax with this information

TurboTax would not send a notification. It may come from the IRS, or your bank.

I also received a notification a couple days ago stating I received a direct deposit of 1,200 but nothing is showing .

The IRS is preparing Websites to update information and check your filing status.

Please read what it says on the right hand side where it says “Filers: Get Your Payment”
