Corrected W-2

Hi,

I recently got corrected W-2 from my employer. The only correction it has was for the Social security wages and medicare wages section. I have already filed for federal tax return and state tax returns.

Do i need to file for amendment for both federal tax refund and state refund?

Or just federal is enough?

After the amendment, my refund amount for both does not change.

If the corrected W2 does not change your tax liability you do not need to amend your returns. Here is a link with discussion.
