Editing to be more thorough: How do you track the stimulus if you filed through turbo tax stimulus page.

I am asking because I am a non filer & have absolutely no ideal how any of this works. I filled through turbo tax stimulus portal...got the email the irs accepted it.

Now I'm cautious because the irs & ssa...when ever I do have to deal with them always seem to think I don't exist...so I always have to go in person to show I'd & ss card.

So when the irs portal went live I made a irs non filer account...put in the info to track the stimulus(social number & other info) & it said I hadn't submitted one through that site & to check the site I submitted through...so I'm asking if turbo tax has a way to do this.

The IRS is required to send you a letter within two weeks from the time they sent you the payment. You can track it by looking in your bank account to see if it has been deposited. I don't think there is any way to get a date when they plan to send it.
