Ok! This Question Has Been On My Mind Since Present Trump Mentioned Student Loan Forgiveness Because Of The Coronavirus Pandemic. Whoever Owe Student loans, Their Taxes Won't Be Taken. What About Ppl Who Already Filed, And got offset, do we get our refund back?

They just applied my offset March 7, during this pandemic. And now there calling for my job to close........

Unfortunately, you must contact your student loan company to see if they are going to refund the money taken.

Any tax refund that was seized on or after March 13, 2020 will be returned. It is unclear if returns that were seized prior to that date will be returned. If your tax refund was seized on or after March 13, 2020, call the Department of Education at 800-621-3115 to make sure that your address is current so that you will receive your check in the mail.
