      <description>&lt;P&gt;Please explain what loans your are referring to.&amp;nbsp; We cannot see your tax return or your account.&amp;nbsp; Loans are not reported on a tax return.&amp;nbsp; Interest paid on a student loan can be entered, or interest paid on a mortgage loan can be entered.&amp;nbsp; Paying a loan off is not a deductible entry--so not sure what you are asking about.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;No, you do not have to amend your return.&amp;nbsp; If you have student loans it does not matter whether you've paid them off or not.&amp;nbsp; Only the amount you paid in Interest is reportable.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
