FICA Tax refund after filling Fedral Tax and State Tax refund

Hi,

I recently used Turbotax to file for my Federal Tax refund and State Tax refund but I don't think FICA tax refund was filled with that.

Now company for which I interned is offering me to payback the FICA tax refund and I am not supposed to file for FICA tax refund. They will send me correct W-2C.

I am new to tax system in united states and I am not sure as what are my options?

Should I file for FICA tax separately and not allow my company to file on behalf of me?

Even if my company file for FICA tax refund on my behalf, my federal and state tax refund won't create any problem with new w-2c.

I am sorry for any mistake here. Kindly advice.

If you filed your original return with a W-2 and are getting a corrected W-2 then your only option is to file an amended return ... you have no choice. Only mail the 1040X if there are differences in column B.
