&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Yes -- this amount is in addition to what was on the original return.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The refund amount
(or amount due) on an amended return will be in addition to any previous refund amount (or amount
due) that you received or owed on your originally-filed tax return. Please see
the TurboTax FAQs below for additional information. These refer to refund scenarios, but the same logic applies to amounts owed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
