Ready to mail status in MI

Hello. I filed my taxes in Michigan about two weeks ago maybe a little more. I mailed out my return last Monday. It says for federal and state that its “ready to be mailed” I’m not sure what that means. I’m sorry. They haven’t received it yet? But I got an email on the 18th saying that something was incomplete. I had to give my 2018 agi for irs security purposes. Understood. Buuut, I can’t find where to enter that. It says at the bottom of the email if you’ve already filed to ignore this email. I’m not sure if I’m completely filed. Please help. Thank you!

Sounds like you efiled the federal return but it rejected for the AGI. Did you enter the AGI and resend it? You can check your efile status here

Then for state you mailed it. It will always say Ready to Mail.

Turbo Tax will always say Ready to Mail. They don't know when or if you actually mailed it and the IRS or state doesn't tell or update Turbo Tax when they get your return.

Go through the File tab again. Click on Add a State to let you back into your retun.
