      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/1601447"&gt;@Jerrad&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;No, as Katina stated above, that is not considered a refund offset, if you have done an amendment and the amount is now lower.&amp;nbsp;A&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;refund offset&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;is when an IRS refund is reduced or intercepted to pay off delinquent debt, such as past-due child support, outstanding student loans, or unpaid state income tax.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Now if you are referring to the IRS already receiving the Amended return and it has reduced from what you showed on the amendment, then yes it would be a refund offset.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
