IRS Acceptance E-File Status

We filed our state and federal taxes on 4/15/2019 at 10:53 am PT (per the electronic postmark provided). We have recently rec'd correspondence (in Feb & Mar2020) from the IRS that they have not received our return. Please advise how to handle this issue as I am certain we are not the first customers to which this has happened.
