    <description>&lt;P&gt;I told to send form 8453 after I efiled.&amp;nbsp; On Form 8453, Form 8949 is the only thing checked.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I don't have a 8949.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I sold some stock and only got 1099-B.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Do I send this with the 8453.&amp;nbsp; The software was not very informative in this area.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes, if your return does not have a &lt;A href="https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f8949.pdf" target="_blank"&gt;Form 8949&lt;/A&gt; you should attach a copy of the &lt;STRONG&gt;Form 1099-B&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp; you received. The &lt;A href="https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f8453.pdf" target="_blank"&gt;Form 8453 &lt;/A&gt;is required if you entered totals from the &lt;STRONG&gt;Form&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;1099-B&lt;/STRONG&gt; instead of entering each detail transaction.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am in the same situation (having to file Form 8453), but I uploaded the detail from my investment account when I was in TurboTax and all that was on 8949, which I have printed.&amp;nbsp; Do I still have to print Form 8949 and include with Form 8453?&amp;nbsp; I assumed that the detail from 8949 was included in the e-file.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

The investment company reported the transactions in detail.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
