I accidentally selected that a dependent had a disability on my Louisiana return.. I caught it during print. Why can't I make this simple correction and just reprint!?

Guess I have to "amend" the return. But in doing so it asks if I want to use the explanation from the federal amendment. I'm NOT AMENDING my federal return. I simply want to UNSELECT that the dependent is disabled. Then when I make the corrections, then go double check them, the errors are STILL THERE.

Is it possible that the problem is on the Federal side? C...

Check your input on the My info section on the left-hand side.

Cheryl, thank you for responding. I went and looked, and the dependent is not listed as disabled on the federal return. I'm really at a loss was what to do. Maybe just file the state return without the supporting medical documentation for the disability? Would they just deny that portion of my return? That would be more convenient than amending. It's only $72.

Actually just saw this, under the amendment tab, it says...

Actually just saw this, under the amendment tab, it says "Don't amend if you haven’t actually e-filed or mailed your return yet. Just open your return and make any changes, and file when you're ready."

Well I haven't e-filed or mailed. So....GREAT! I don't have to amend. So now how do I make changes? I tried to clear it and start over, but it says I can't because I've already paid!
