Depending on which TurboTax product that you used to file your taxes, there would be different ways to check the status. Please click the link, listed below, for the TurboTax FAQ to learn how to check your e-file status and the status of your refund.

https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/return-status/help/how-do-i-check-my-e-file-status/00/25538

Even though the IRS issues 9 out of 10 tax refunds within 21 days, it's possible your return may require additional review and take longer to process.

For some taxpayers, PATH Act requirements and other identity-protection safeguards implemented by the IRS may account for longer wait times.

Other things that can delay your refund include, but are not limited to:

Liens, back taxes, or refund offsets

Errors, inconsistencies, or missing information

Identity fraud

Form 8379, Injured Spouse Allocation, which can take 11-14 weeks to process

Also, if you chose direct deposit, your financial institution may need another day or two to post the refund to your account, so keep that in mind.

You stated that it usually takes 21 business days to get your refund processed. Why would it take longer when I filled back in January?

The IRS did not begin to process returns until Jan 27--so even if you filed earlier, your return was just sitting on a server until then.

Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 20 of your Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

https://www.irs.gov/refunds

To track your state refund:
