I know it is confusing. We have been asking to have that calculation removed and only show the actual amounts from the federal and state returns.

For example if you had a federal refund of $500 and state refund of $200, the Total Tax Refund would be $700

With your numbers, you have a federal tax refund of $295 and state taxes owed of $113, so the Total Tax Refund shows as $182.

You will receive the federal tax refund of $295.

I filed my taxes and paid what I owed on state taxes through withdrawal and I looked at my status and it says accepted but they subtracted what I owed from my federal return even though I already paid my state taxes. Is this wrong or?

Federal return 295$ when I filed and I owed 113. I paid the 113 already but my tax return amount om the site says $182

What you are viewing is the Net between the federal refund and the state taxes owed. It does not indicate that any taxes were deducted from the federal tax refund.
