Amend 1040x for 2019

On the IRS website the 2019 Amend form is up.... why is turbo tax not updated? When i talk with the chat... they say they cant due to the irs not releasing the form yet. But they have!

The IRS has 1040x for 2019 available for download as a PDF. So this is on Turbotax.

And the IRS Form 1040X Instructions for 2019 are still in draft form - https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-dft/i1040x--dft.pdf

Form I pull up still has DO NOT FILE in red. Can I fill out the IRS PDF form I downloaded instead. Ammending because I miss including a 1099-INT that was a new payee for last year.

You have three years to amend a tax return if receiving a tax refund. Or you can amend a tax return at any time if taxes are owed.

An amended tax return, Form 1040X, can only be printed, signed, dated and mailed by you to the IRS, it cannot be e-filed. The IRS will take up to 4 months to process the amended tax return. Wait until you have received the tax refund or the taxes owed have been paid and processed by the IRS before amending the tax return.

On the Tax Home web page when the Form 1040X for amending a 2019 tax return becomes available there will be a link - Amend (change) return

Form 1040X is estimated to be available on 02/27/2020

Just received an email that Turbo is ready with 1040X. Of course when I logged in, found that it is still not ready. Will be ready 2/21!!!(today being 2/26). Turbo has been a nightmare this year. If they had done things properly the first time, I wouldn't have to file an Amend 1040X.
