topic Refund status in After you file

I filed on 1/29 and it was approved on 1/29. I go to irs.refund and it has been processing ever since. Does anyone know if they are only updating on certain days? I've got a friend who has filed with a different company a day after me and she also has a child income credit but she already received a date to get her money. Does anyone know when the next update is or when I should start to worry? Its NEVER TAKEN THIS LONG TO GET MY REFUND.

The IRS estimated most taxpayers will receive their refund within 21 days after acceptance.

You can track your return by clicking here to be directed to the Where's My Refund website. This will allow you to view the most up to date status of the return as well as the direct deposit date once your return is approved.

If you had any EIC on your return, this did delay returns until late Feb due to the PATH Act. Also, each return is different so each return will have a unique timetable.
