Have a question regarding offset.

Hey everyone I have a ?. I logged onto the department of education and checked my loan and said I had $491 left. But when I called department of treasury it told me 1 offet for $508. Do I go off what treasury told me? This is the only thing I have federally to pay and wanted to make sure. I'm still suppose to get half my return back. If not credited by march2nd to call them

Any help would be nice

@Jyork23x I believe the amount the treasury department gave would be the correct one. Or, at least be the amount deducted from your refund.

The Treasury Department will be correct.

Thank you. I called them and it gave the amount there offsetting. Now I just wait to for my remaining federal return to be deposited onto by tt card.
