Anyone else have 520 tax code, and told to wait 60 days for review. Let's update each other here.

Tax Code 570 is just a hold for processing. This could be because you filed in between acceptance dates or because you filed during a very busy time. IRS Transcript Code 570 doesn’t mean you are being audited or any other negative reason. It will just take a little longer for your tax return to be processed.

Code 570: Additional Liability Pending/or Credit Hold - Per IRS Transaction Codes

The IRS is in the process of matching forms they received from you and the ones you reported.

I have the same code, along with the 971 for a notice. I called the IRS this morning and the lady told me they are verifying my wages and to give them 45 days. I will give updates as I get them, but I guess the notice doesn't go out in the mail till March 9th.

Yes got letter redid my taxes evrything checked out i think its because we got 10k coming back

No. I get my transcrpits online. Go to irs transcrpits and make an account.

I have the code 570 on my transcript with a date of 3/9/2020 but no 971 code. I filed on 1/29 and exceptef the same day. Do I need to be worried?

I received a letter on 2/13/20. I still have not heard anything and can not contact them until 4/13/20. And TurboTax made sure they took their payment out of my account without me receiving may taxes yet. Very dissatisfied with the service this year.

Hi, I also received a 570 code with no further updates since 02/19/2020. I called and they told me to call back within 60 days. I haven't been requested any additional information and with the whole stimulus thing going on I'm afraid I won't receive an answer on my tax refund. Did you get an update?

I also filed on 1/31 and got a 570 code I called the irs and the lady laughed at me while saying thousands of tax payers received the same code and they cannot tell me anything until after 60 days so 4/15 was 60 days and I called and the automated system says there is no human to speak with!!??!! Okay! Then I took another look at my transcript and wow the date had changed.. now it says 4/27.. o mean really IRS?!??!! But turbo tax went in my account and took there money but I haven’t even got my taxes back!!?? WTH

I filed 1/31 got a letter 2/20 said they didn’t need any more information at that time , ive been checking since ... no letter , no mail , I called lady said give it 60 days! Today is officially 60 days ! 570 code was place 3/9 Friday dates were for 4/20 got on this morning to look at my transcripts , dates were changed to 4/27! Anyone having same issue ?
