Hello. My name is [PII Removed] and I filed my taxes on the 29th of January and was just wondering. If you all could figure out the due date. That I would be getting them all. Because the IRS accepted them. But I have yet not got a date.

I have never had a "Pending" status after filing. I filed on the 13th of February and it is the 17th today. Both State and Federal are pending which makes me think it is a software issue. I had to wait for an update for my plug in car credit so I am not feeling very secure about this. Please advise.

Your e-filed return is still in pending on the server because the IRS is still accepting/rejecting/processing returns. Sometimes it can take more than 48 hours to process. Please see the TurboTax FAQ below for more information on pending returns:

I have heard that it is due to form 8936 which was updated and then pulled back. Any taxes filed with the pulled back form are waiting in pending status. If that is so we should be told right out. I have a Prius Prime which the problem does not affect. This is making me very upset, along with the fact that since the tax changes of 2018 I can't itemize yet Turbo Tax still sends me the CD for itemizing which cost a lot. I will be discontinuing using turbo tax deluxe unless the tax laws are changed back.

Yes. It is updated once every 24 hours, usually done during the overnight hours between 2am-6am est.
