Direct Deposit account needs to be corrected due to closed account

What happens if I selected Direct Deposit with fees coming out of my return and the account I use is closed...How do I correct this? The IRS said they send to the bank the tax institution uses, and I should contact the turbotax to see how to handle it...Any ideas?

When the bank info you provided is for a closed or invalid account, the government will mail you a refund check. Please read more about: What if I entered the wrong bank account for direct deposit?

After receiving an email from TurboTax stating My Refund Will Be Deposited Soon and after 72hrs I realize I had filed and didn’t change my bank information. It had an old savings account that’s now closed . How long did it take you to receive your refund back?
