    <description>&lt;P&gt;I filed my taxes free online and elected to have the refund put on a credit card. The taxes were accepted by the IRS on 1/23/20. I checked the status today (2/11/20) with the IRS and it says the refund was direct deposited into my account on 2/5/20. I didn't choose this option nor provide my bank information. I checked my bank account and the money wasn't put into my account.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Or has your refund not been deposited into your bank account by a certain date?&amp;nbsp; It can take up to 5 business days for your bank to deposit your tax return into your account. If the status in&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://www.irs.gov/refunds" target="_blank"&gt;Where’s My Refund?&lt;/A&gt; shows “Refund Sent”, the IRS has sent your tax refund to your bank for direct deposit. If you don't receive it in after 5 business days, then you should contact your bank.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
