I filed on the 13th.but my account still says pending.when will refunds start being approved?

The official date for the IRS to start accepting returns is 1/27/2020. You will have to wait until your return is accepted in order for you to receive a refund. You could receive your refund within 10 days if you choose direct deposit. See the following from the IRS for refund information.

If you already file and it was accepted then you cannot change anything. If the IRS cannot direct deposit then they will mail a check to the address on your tax return.
